The analysis of nuclear DNA requires highest precision and perfect instrumental linearity. Artificial particles like microspheres do not mimicry the real behavior in fluorescence emission of cells. Therefore, they are not suited for a high precision alignment and QC in nuclear DNA analysis. With the Partec DNA control UV and DNA control PI, stained and fixed blood cells with long term stability and guaranteed quality are available. These products are characterized by their highly homogeneous fluorescence with CV values of 1.0 to 1.2 % for both, UV stained and propidium iodoide stained cells and, the formation of perfect doublets and triplets making them a perfect tool for real linearity control of the used flow cytometer.
