During the State Visit of German Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel to Ethiopia, South Africa and Liberia (3-8 Oct 2007), Partec has donated a CyFlow SL_3 CD4 counter to HOPE / Tygerberg Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa as well as mobile CyScope fluorescence microscopes and thousands of test kits for TB and Malaria diagnostics to the Ministry of Health in Monrovia, Liberiai with a total value of more than USD 55,000 for supporting patient support programmes with urgently required diagnostic solutions. Co-founder and scientific director of Partec Professor Dr. Wolfgang Göhde was invited to join the German delegation for the State Visit to Africa.
